23-Year Old US Woman Gives Birth 48 Hours After Finding Out She Is Pregnant

The birth of the first child is the happiest news for every expecting couple, but what if this news comes just two days before the delivery? When a couple in the US learned they were expecting a child, they were startled. Their first child was delivered to them 48 hours later.
Peyton Stover, a 23-year-old first-year teacher in Omaha, visited the doctor after noticing symptoms, such as exhaustion, which she thought were caused by work stress.
"I just thought it was normal to be tired all the time," she told KETV.
But as she began to experience physical changes, including leg swelling, her doctor informed her she was expecting a baby.

"They reran the test," Ms. Stover said. "It's definitely positive. We're going to do an ultrasound," she recalled. "She looked right at the screen and said, 'You're definitely pregnant.'"
The 23-year-old also stated that further medical worries accompanied the news of her unborn child.
Ms. Stover told the publication that her liver and kidneys stopped functioning appropriately, which is when health doctors intervened.
"They said she needs to be admitted, and then she had the baby that night," her boyfriend, Tavis Koesters, told KETV, as per New York Post.
Doctors diagnosed that Ms. Stover had preeclampsia.
Preeclampsia is a pregnancy condition that can lead to severe difficulties and is defined by high blood pressure and signs of organ system damage.
The health doctors performed an urgent C-section to save the mother and infant. Ms. Stover described the situation as "very scary." She gave birth to a boy named Kash, who was born ten weeks early and weighed only 4 pounds, according to KETV.
The couple stated a desire to have children at some point, so their excitement that the time had come earlier than expected was understandable.
"Now that I've actually held him, fed him, and things like that, it's real. He's actually mine," Ms. Stover said.
