Aside from containment zones, every other zone (orange, green and red) will have standalone liquor stores opening up and they will be allowed to sell till 7 pm. After that, people are not allowed to step out for non-essential commodities.
Stores have also been directed to ensure that their customers are practicing social-distancing while lining up and a minimum gap of six feet needs to be there between two people.
Since morning, photos and videos of people lining up outside liquor stores have been doing the rounds on social media. While some areas showed clear ignorance of the rules of social-distancing, some are simply happy to be able to buy alcohol again.
