Weed Vending Machines Are Being Set Up In USA To Minimise Buyer-Seller Contact During Pandemic

To help people get their bud easily and without having to come in to contact with others, several weed vending machines have been set up in Colorado and Massachusetts. This initiative was started so that people do not need to spend a lot of time inside a weed store, talking to a budtender, given the pandemic.

Marijuana dispensaries in America have a long buying process, due to the fact that people usually do not know what they want. This leads to them spending a lot of time with the budtender (marijuana dispensary employee) to help them understand what they want or need.

Since there is a plethora of options to choose from, sellers usually like to let their customers have a thorough understanding of all their products so they can get the right bud, oil or edible. This can take a lot of time and given that people just want minimum contact with others right now, the vending machines can be a game-changer.

Anna weed vending machine is being distributed to help customers get their product easily and in no time.

Anna founder and CEO Matt Frost told the Colorado newspaper that this is going to be extremely helpful for those who know what they want. He said, "There are experienced cannabis customers who don't necessarily need that one-on-one interaction with a budtender."

He added, "They know what they want before they walk in, they're ready to go in and out. By doing this we're giving more time back to the people who do need hand holding and want that education from a live person. With COVID and social distancing and contactless, definitely we have an appeal there, as well."

Also, the machines will still be installed inside a dispensary so that it can be away from the prying eyes of underage people trying to get their hands on some easy weed.

The buyer will have to present their ID and check in to use the vending machine and once you are inside the store you can browse through the products on the 27-inch screen and choose your bud/edible/oil. The machine can hold up to 2,000 products and you even have the option of pre-ordering and picking up your product when you get to the store.
