The world's most advanced humanoid that had gone viral recently is getting a lot of attention once again. This humanoid robot can be seen moving someone's hand out of the way when it gets into their 'personal space' in new footage.
This humanoid named Ameca is built by British firm Engineered Arts, and its development is being shared on YouTube.
In the latest clip, a researcher moves their finger closer and closer to Ameca until the robot grabs the hand and moves it out of its face. Engineered Arts, based in Cornwall, has not revealed how much the robot cost to make as it is still in development.

Recently, the humanoid robot got quite viral where it seemed to move and act like a human. It warmed up its shoulder before a click causes its eyes to open and express a genuine look of shock or surprise. It has a furrowed brow, it blinks multiple times (even though it doesn't need to) and observes its machine arm with an intense and curious gaze. The short clip ends with the robot reaching out its hand and forming a slight smile as it stares into your soul.
Engineered Arts sees the platform, called Ameca, as a ¡°platform for development into future robotics technologies,¡± according to its website.
Engineered Arts also produces a robotic head, known as Adran, which has 22 custom actuators that allow it to move its eyes and mouth just like a human.
The future is here.
