Billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani on Tuesday confirmed that his youngest son, Jeet Adani, will tie the knot with Diva Jaimin Shah on February 7, and, contrary to rumours, it will be a "simple and traditional" affair. For those who may not be aware, speculations were earlier rife that the Adanis are bringing Taylor Swift for the first time to India for their youngest's pre-wedding event.
Additionally, reports suggested that Sydney Sweeney and Selena Gomez will also attend the high-profile event. However, the Adani Group chairman has now set the record straight, stating there'll be no celebrity appearances, and rumours of international personalities attending the wedding are unfounded.
Gautam Adani says his son's wedding will be a 'close-knit' affair, denies celebrity appearances
Gautam Adani on Tuesday visited the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, where he spoke to the reporters about his son Jeet's wedding. He said the wedding will be a low-key affair and will be conducted in traditional ways.
"Jeet's wedding is scheduled for February 7. Our activities are like ordinary people. The ceremony will be very simple and conducted in full traditional ways," he said.
When asked if the event will be a grand affair with celebrities in attendance, he replied, "Bilkul nahin hoga (no, it won't be)."
