Anyone saying "They can do restoration", that spire falling is exactly the sort of thing that can never be re-created. The stone shell of the Cathedral is nothing without with sculptures, windows, and countless detail. This is like watching the Mona Lisa burn.

The fire continued to rage for eight hours straight, and was finally controlled by 6:30 am IST on Tuesday morning. The firefighters tried to rescue religious relics and artwork. While rescuing the things, one fireman was seriously injured. No casualty has been reported so far. The firemen saved the main bell towers and outer walls before bringing the fire under control.
