'They're feeding our delusions': Swifties and MOAs react as TXT perform a cover of Taylor Swift's romantic track Love Story
Fans would love to see a TXT X Taylor Swift collab one day, but for now, they are more than happy with a Love Story cover. The group's take on Swift's most popular romantic song has set the K-pop world buzzing, blending the world's most powerful fandoms, MOA and Swifties, together.
Neither MOA nor Swifties were ready when TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aka TXT, decided to tease a sneak peek into their upcoming cover of Taylor Swift's evergreen hit Love Story. The five-piece K-pop boy band, comprising Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, are currently on a promotional spree for their latest mini album The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY.
TXT tease Love Story cover
On the days TXT members are not creating their own music, they are moonlighting as Swifties. The group has been vocal about their love for Swift's music and in an attempt to pay an ode to their favourite artist, the members will be releasing a cover of one of Swift's most popular tracks Love Story on November 15. Ahead of the release, the boyband serenaded the audience with a glimpse into the cover on the latest episode of South Korean music talk show The Seasons: Rainbow of Lee Young Ji.
The boys first performed a live version of the 2021 hit LO$ER=LO?ER, before enchanting fans with a snippet of Heaven, one of the B-sides on their new album. The group then surprised fans with a portion of their upcoming cover of Swift's 2008 song Love Story.
