This Pakistani Singer's Beautiful Rendition Of 'Vaishnav Jana To' Will Give You Goosebumps
Narsi Mehta&rsquos 15th-century poem in old Gujarati Vaishnav Jana To Tene Kahiye was adopted by Mahatma Gandhi into thelistof prayers routinely sung at the Sabarmati ashram. Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali the lead vocalist of the Pakistani rock band Fuzön paid a beautiful tribute to Gandhi. This rendition of the bhajan has since gone viral.
For those who don't know, Narsi Mehta¡¯s 15th-century poem in old Gujarati, 'Vaishnav Jana To Tene Kahiye,' was adopted by Mahatma Gandhi into the list of prayers routinely sung at the Sabarmati ashram.
The bhajan's message to followers: 'feel the pain of another man, and try and alleviate another¡¯s hurt.'
And Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali, the lead vocalist of the Pakistani rock band Fuz?n, paid a beautiful tribute on Mahatma Gandhi's birthday.
