TXT praised for blurring out Kim Soo Hyun's face from Soobin's variety show: 'That's how you boycott him'
In TXT Soobin’s new variety show episode, Kim Soo Hyun’s face was blurred out in scenes and posters, while others were clearly shown. Fans believe this was a quiet but clear response to his ongoing scandal.

?In the wake of the ongoing controversy surrounding Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae Ron, the South Korean entertainment industry is witnessing significant shifts. Recently, Tomorrow by Together's (TXT) Soobin's variety show has been going viral for boycotting the actor amid his public scandal.
TXT blurs Kim Soo Hyun's face from Soobin's variety show
TXT's leader Soobin has returned with the second season of his YouTube variety show My Fave’s Fave. The first episode was K-drama-themed and featured his fellow member Beomgyu—who recently made his solo debut with PANIC— as a guest.
In a scene filled with K-drama characters, including Choi Taek from Reply 1988 and Lee Daegil from The Slave Hunters, one face stood out as being blurred - that of Baek Hyunwoo, played by Kim Soo Hyun from the drama Queen of Tears. Notably, his co-star Kim Ji Won, who played Hong Haein, was still visible on screen, while Kim Soo Hyun's face was carefully edited out.
But that's not it. In another sequence, it was seen that the editors had blurred Kim Soo Hyun's face from the poster of his 2013 K-drama My Love from the Star, while his co-star Jun Ji Hyun's face remained untouched.
Meanwhile, at one point, Soobin and Beomgyu were seen holding cutouts of various characters, including IU's character, Jang Man-wol, from Hotel Del Luna. However, the cutout for Kim Soo Hyun's Baek Hyunwoo remained blurred.
Netizens praise TXT for boycotting Kim Soo Hyun
Clips of the show featuring a blurred Kim Soo Hyun have gone viral, with netizens assuming it was filmed before the scandal and speculating that the editors had to retroactively remove his face. Many praised the editors for taking this step, seeing it as their commitment to addressing the issue seriously.
"Pixid blurring out kim s00hyun's face, as they should," one user wrote.

"Kim Soohyun’s face is blurred here on TXT’s content (mind you this episode came out before the scandal broke out), medias all over the world should blur his face while reporting his issue to end support to that disgusting man once and for all," a third tweeted.
