Chris Martin sings Vande Mataram on Republic Day
Chris Martin's final performance at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday was a memorable one, as he kicked off the concert by wishing the crowd a "Happy Republic Day, India!".
In a special tribute to the country, Chris also sang his own rendition of Vande Mataram, India's national song, which was received with loud cheers and applause from the crowd.
Coldplay's highly anticipated Music of the Spheres India tour kicked off to a thrilling start in Mumbai on January 18, with three shows taking place at the DY Patil Stadium. The band then traveled to Ahmedabad, where they held two back-to-back shows at the Narendra Modi Stadium. There finale concert was attended by over 1.34 lakh people, officially becoming band's largest ever tour.
