WrestleMania 41: Former WWE star wants John Cena to beat Cody Rhodes at ¡®The Show of Shows¡¯
John Cena is set to lock horns with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 in a singles match for the 39-year-old star¡¯s Undisputed Championship. Nic Nemeth has said that he wants the Cenation Leader to go over in the match.

John Cena is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for his Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania 41 in a match that has created a great deal of buzz in the wrestling world. In a new interview, Nic Nemeth ( who wrestled in the WWE as Dolph Ziggler) shared his views about the eagerly awaited showdown and said that Cena needs to win this one.
Nic Nemeth wants John Cena to win at WrestleMania 41
Nic Nemeth feels that John Cena should defeat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to become the new Undisputed champion. On the Busted Open Radio, he said that this could result in a situation where ¡®QB1¡¯ tries to take down a heel Cena to reclaim the gold. Nic added that the feud could culminate in a rematch on December 31, which would be the last day of Cena¡¯s ongoing retirement tour. He further stated that Cena should retain the title in the hypothetical rematch.
If the former ¡®Doctor of Thuganomics¡¯ wins at WrestleMania 41, he will become a 17-time world champion and break Ric Flair¡¯s record in the process.
About John Cena-Cody Rhodes¡¯ feud
Cody Rhodes and John Cena¡¯s feud started at Elimination Chamber 2025 when the Cenation Leader assaulted the ¡®American Nightmare¡¯ on The Rock¡¯s orders after winning the titular match. The two men exchanged words on Raw in the subsequent wells with Cody calling his rival a ¡®Company Creation¡¯. During his last appearance, Cena tried to attack Dusty¡¯s son only to receive a Cross Rhodes for his troubles.
Cody Rhodes and John Cena will square off at WrestleMania 41, which will be held in Las Vegas on April 19 and April 20.
