13-Year-Old Boy Put Into Isolation On First Day Back At School Over His ¡®Extreme¡¯ Haircut
For some, the lockdown haircut has come at a great price. Just like this 13-year-old schoolboy who was put in isolation on his first day back at school after his mother cut his hair 'extreme and too short'.
During the lockdown induced by COVID-19, you could be forgiven for having a disastrous haircut. After all, you coudn't go to your favourite salon and get your hair done with perfection.
While many have tried their hand at haircutting at home, not everybody has been able to do a good job at that. For some, the lockdown haircut has come at a great price. Just like this 13-year-old schoolboy who was put in isolation on his first day back at school after his mother cut his hair 'extreme and too short'.

Lealan Hague, a student at Exmouth Community College in England's Devon, was just 45 minutes into lessons after months of lockdown when he was told to leave the class.
The teenager was told he could face a whole week of isolation due to the haircut which his mother Kirsty said he got for no fault of his own.

The mother was left fuming at the school's decision as she tried explaining that her son had ended up with such short hair as all salons were closed during lockdown and she only had a broken clipper that would give him a zero around the sides.
She said the school initially failed to comprehend and insisted on putting her son in isolation, DevonLive reported.
However, he was on Wednesday allowed out of isolation and back into the classroom.

"Lealan badly needed a haircut, as do many, so we cut his hair short because he really suffers from itching with longer hair. I thought the school would be a bit more lenient considering the current circumstances, and understand why," Kirsty was quoted as saying by Daily Mirror.
"On his first day back he said he had no break times, no lunch time and had to stay in the room all day because of his hair cut. They got his lunch from the canteen for him as he wasn¡¯t allowed to leave the room," she added.
Well, that's as bizarre as it can get. Putting someone into isolation because of a haircut? It's just too harsh.
