'Nanu Mummy Marr Gayi' 3-YO Witnesses Parents' Murder-Suicide, Sits Next To Bodies For 11 Hours

In a shocking incident, a toddler had to stay with the dead bodies of her parents for over 11 hours in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Only when the three-year-old girl¡¯s grandfather made a call to the family, did she informed him about her dead parents.

According to Times Of India, as soon as the family members and police entered the house, the toddler ran towards her grandfather. The parents were identified as Sathyendra Bhadoria and his wife - Anshu.

Madhoganj TI Ajay Pawar told TOI that the murder-suicide of Sathyendra Bhadoria and his wife Anshu, probably took place around midnight on Saturday. ¡°Unfortunately, the child witnessed it. We can make out that she was there all the time. She has told us about the fight between her parents and how the shots were fired,¡± said Pawar, adding that the gun belonged to Sathyendra¡¯s brother.

Reportedly, Sathyendra used to live with his parents and two brothers who work for Indian Army, and his father - who is also a retired army man.

Sathyendra was jobless but his family supported him and they recently bought him a land, a house and a car. Sathyendra even used his brother¡¯s ATM cards for daily needs. A family member told the police that Sathyendra was angry over his wife¡¯s decision to attend a wedding of a distant relative, even though they had not been invited properly.

¡°We have come to know that Sathyendra was angry over his wife¡¯s decision to attend a wedding of a distant relative though they had not got a proper invite,¡± the SP Navneet Bhasin said. He also said that their house was in an isolated place and no one knew that the child was alone, until her grandfather called in the morning. On the phone, the toddler said that "Nanu mummy marr gayi (Grandpa mummy is dead)".

Shocked by this statement, the grandfather told the toddler to give phone to her father, to which she said, "Papa bhi marr gaye, aur mujhe bhot bhook lagi hai. Jaldi aa jaao (He is also dead and I am very hungry, please come soon)".

Reportedly, when they entered the house, the toddler was crying in the hall and her parents were lying dead in the bedroom. The investigation of the case is underway.
