Facebook user Robyn McLennan came across a really terrifying sight in Victoria Australia last week. Robyn posted pictures of the spider taking on the snake to a Facebook group called Naturalists Club of Victoria. The photographs have garnered over 1000 likes and amazing reactions.
A redback spider (also known as Black Widow spiders) and a venomous eastern brown snake had a fight. Guess who won? No, not the venomous snake but the spider emerged as the winner. Facebook user Robyn McLennan came across a really terrifying sight in Victoria, Australia last week.
Robyn posted pictures of the spider taking on the snake to a Facebook group called Naturalists Club of Victoria and it quickly went viral.

FYI, Eastern brown snakes are the world¡¯s second venomous snakes, while redback spiders are a species of highly venomous spiders.
Three photos were shared by Robyn which showed the redback spider, trapping the snake in its web. What¡¯s more surprising is that the spider managed to lift the snake off the ground completely.

According to Star Weekly, snake catcher Jarror Bingham was called on March 4 to identify and collect the snake."The redback spider was inside the brown snake's mouth and just crawled out," Robyn said.
