This woman in Birsbane, Australia, was left gobsmacked after discovering a deadly snake peering from behind her toaster. What a way to wake up without downing a single drop of your morning coffee.
The red-bellied black snake was inches from her hand apparently, says news.com.au. It's believed she left the back door open which is how the snake got it before finally finding a cosy spot for itself behind the toaster.
Steven Brown, owner of Brisbane North Snake Catchers and Relocation, told news.com.au, "When she came back she found the head of the snake poking out behind the toaster and the wall."

"She was pretty calm [when I got there]. She knew to stay away and not to take matters into her own hands," he added.
According to experts, the bite from a red-bellied snake can be quite painful and cause chills, swelling and muscle breakdown, but they only retaliate if they feel cornered. Other than that, they're usually pretty shy.
