Watch: Baboon Escapes Hospital With 'Two Wives' On The Day He Was Supposed To Have A Vasectomy
A baboon was apparently scheduled to have a vasectomy in a medical facility in Sydney. Two female baboons accompanied him in his escapade. The whole escape was captured by a pedestrian outside Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and has since gone viral.
Do you have a fear of going to the hospital or seeing a doctor? It looks like human beings are not the only species on this planet who have a problem with this. A bizarre incident in the 'land down under' has left netizens pleasantly amused and concerned at the same time.
A video doing the rounds on the Internet shows a baboon--who was apparently scheduled to have a vasectomy in a medical facility in Sydney--escaping from the hospital. The interesting twist here is that he wasn't alone; two female baboons accompanied him in his escapade.
According to Times Now, the whole escape was captured by a pedestrian outside Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and has since gone viral. Reports added that since the baboon was supposed to have a vasectomy at the medical facility, two female monkeys had been brought in to 'comfort' him. However, the baboon seemed to have taken his comfort a little too far and ended up fleeing with the ladies.
The hospital authorities contacted the New South Wales Police after the escape. The NSWP tweeted, "This is not a Mandrill! Earlier this afternoon, a troop of baboons escaped from a facility and were going bananas in Camperdown. Police and wildlife handlers now have the situation under control, so please let them do their job and don't be tempted to pry, mates."

In response to the incident, there were mixed reactions from the public. While some were just glad that the baboon was back in safe hands, others were concerned about what they were running from.
Have they been caught yet??

This breaks my heart. You can only imagine what they are running from.

What a monkey I would give him a life time supply of bananas.

Two pretty wives in hand off to a secluded hideaway. He¡¯s a Macho Monkey. Leave his private parts alone, let him enjoy himself. Just think offspring, no children to support and if a judge rules he pays Bananas .
Hope they haven¡¯t been caught! Who could blame him, being de-sexed against his will, no doubt?!

However, the chaos created by the baboon came to an end when the authorities caught hold of the escapists and safely returned to the medical facility. The police tweeted that even though the baboons were back in the hospital, people should avoid the area if a similar incident takes place.
The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is known to breed animals for medical research and we are sure they are no strangers to such incidents. Baboons were also used back in 2016 by the doctors to determine treatments for disorders that were new to the world.
This does bring in the discussion around using animals for our own research. As much as it benefits the human race, it is unfair to the animals who do not have a say in the same. What they want is not taken into consideration which further leads to such chaos that can cause harm to them as well as us.
