Groom&rsquos wedding procession was dancing on a small bridge at Hoshiyarpur village in Noida. They had been dancing for over 10 minutes on the bridge while others walked across it to reach the lawn. Suddenly the bride came crashing down and the entire family along with the groom ended up in a ditch.
Indians take the 'baraat' part of every wedding very seriously, even if it means breaking down an entire bridge with too much dancing.

That's what these 'baraatis' from Noida ended up doing. They danced so hard that the entire family, along with the groom, ended up in a ditch after a suspension bridge collapsed in Noida.
According to an HT report, the incident occurred around 9:30 pm when the baraat (groom¡¯s wedding procession) was dancing on a small bridge at Hoshiyarpur village in Noida¡¯s Sector 52.

They had been dancing for over 10 minutes on the bridge while others walked across it to reach the lawn. The suspension bridge, which connected the wedding banquet hall¡¯s gate to its lawn, was built over a drain.
And suddenly the bride came crashing down.

The report states that two children below the age of 8 were injured and rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
After the incident, the owner of the banquet hall paid Rs 3 lakh in cash to the bride¡¯s family and that's when the wedding resumed. The groom was reportedly a 35-year-old businessman from Ghaziabad, and the bride a 32-year-old resident of Delhi.
