Imagine a day in the life of someone living in a bustling city like Bengaluru. 'Silver pani puri,' check. Just a low-flying Boeing in the sky, check. Luxury cars neatly lined up inside a gated society, check. A man working on the laptop while watching a movie in a hall, check. The city, it seems, is like a gift that keeps on giving. No matter what corner you turn, there's something worthy of the internet's attention. The one thing you can't do is take away the city's bragging rights when it comes to bizarre things that'll leave you in splits.
Recently, an old traffic signboard resurfaced online and gave people something to laugh about. At first glance it looks like your standard board listing out traffic rules all citizens will benefit from if they follow them. But once you start reading it, you'll realise that the messaging is slightly awkward. Seen from afar, it reads: 'Follow someone home," the three words split across three separate lines with accompanying text in a small font right below them. It meant to say, "Follow traffic rules; someone is waiting at home for you," but failed miserably. Of course, the internet had a field day with the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)-issued signboard.
