Like many couples Julie Benn and Paul Richter were forced to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic but were finally able to marry on July 3 in Philadelphia.
At the reception, the newlyweds were ready to hit the dance floor for their first dance. This is when it all went awry.
In the video that was first shared on TikTok, the pair can seen slow dancing together, before Paul gently leans Julie back ¨C but, somehow, she dislocates her knee in the process.

She told local TV news station WTXF that she knew instantly what had happened.
¡°I was in this dip and I said to Paul, ¡®I just dislocated my knee.¡¯ He said ¡®What? OK, OK, let¡¯s move. Let¡¯s get off the dance floor,¡¯¡± Julie said.
Julie
was rushed to hospital where doctors confirmed she had dislocated her knee.
She was then filmed being wheeled out of the hospital after she had gotten medical attention while still wearing her wedding dress.
The newlywed couple even snapped a few pictures with their nurse as the bride sported a new leg brace.
