UP: Bride & Groom's Families Fight With Each Other Over Who Gets To Take Picture First At Wedding

Weddings are special and wedding pictures are even more special. These images will last forever as a celebration of two loved ones and two families getting together.

Everybody gets a chance to click pictures with the bride and groom, but you have to wait for your chance.

However, two families in UP literally fought each other to get a picture first. The families even got injured in the process, here's what happened at the UP wedding.

A very unexpected incident took place at a wedding in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria district.

As the wedding progressed, an argument took place over whether the bride's family or the groom's family would take the pictures first. Soon after the couple exchanged garlands, the groom and the bride's side got into a heated argument that actually ended up in a nasty fight.

The incident took place on December 8. The wedding procession travelled from Rampur Karkhana Dhus to Madhavpur village and everyone was excited about the wedding, as per reports.

The wedding turned into a fight scene as soon as it was time to click pictures. The groom's side, allegedly drunk, demanded that they click pictures first.

Soon after, the demand blew up into an argument and then the groom's uncle tried to intervene, but he ended up being severely injured. Additionally, the groom's sister was also wounded in the ongoing fight. The wounded people were admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment.

"On Thursday night around 9.30 pm, there was information about a quarrel over taking photographs at the wedding. The injured had already left for the hospital by the time the police arrived at the scene with a team," said senior sub-inspector Balram Singh, who arrived at the scene.
