No Cab, Autos Or Buses: Transportation Strike In Delhi Creates Havoc On Roads & Social Media Too!
If you are one of those who take cabs to office, then we are feeling really sorry for you today! Why, you ask? Because Delhi is on a transportation strike. All the cabs - Ola, Uber, autos and even the private cabs are on a strike today.
The strike is held to showcase opposition against the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 (MVA). So this is the reason why you haven't been able to find cabs for the last two hours.
Even the schools have declared a holiday due to the unavailability of private operators. The strike from 6am to 10pm is affecting the movement of cabs, buses, autos (private and commercial).
Not only on roads but people on social media are also furious and that is why #Transportstrike is trending on Twitter. Using this hashtag, people are telling whatever is happening - like they are not getting any conveyance to reach their workplaces.
