Drunk Woman In Thailand Strips Naked, Climbs On A Buddhist Shrine, Hurls Abuses At Passersby
The video of the same tourist, stripping off and climbing on to a Buddhist shrine chanting, ranting and swearing with a can of beer in hand is going viral.
When people drink too much, they tend to do things they normally wouldn't: Blabber to a friend, go wild on a busy street or climb on top of a shrine¡ naked. At least that is what one drunk tourist did.
The video of the same tourist, stripping off and climbing on to a Buddhist shrine chanting, ranting and swearing with a can of beer in hand is going viral.
28-year-old Farah Haque was caught on camera as she scaled the religious site in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. She reportedly hurled abuses at passerby before police escorted her to the nearby Suan Prung Psychiatric Hospital to sober up before being assessed by doctors.
In the video, Haque can be see stark naked, perched on a handrail while wildly waving her arms in the air and drinking beer from a can.
Apart from other things she was heard chanting Allahu Akbar. Farah is reportedly originally from Bangladesh.

According to officers, Haque had initially arrived as a tourist but had been working as an English teacher since April. Police Lieutenant Colonel Somkit Phusod from Chaing Mai police station said Ms Haque had been staying at a hostel in the city.
¡°We suspected that she was quite drunk, she could not control herself and she was causing a terrible scene. The first thing we did was take her to the hospital to rest. When she is sober the doctors will check her psychological state,¡± Mail Online quoted him as saying.

Reportedly, Haque was also seen roaming around drunk a night before. Officers said Ms Haque had also been seen stumbling around while drunk the night before.
Lt Col Somkit also said, ¡°The correct procedure is for psychological reports to be produced which will help us when considering any charges or fines. We are informing her embassy and acquaintances in Thailand.¡±
As far as the shrine is concerned, Buddhist locals spent a day cleaning it.
