The dwarf couple's wedding was almost as hyped as a celebrity wedding since hundreds of locals from the village gatecrashed the occasion to see them getting married. According to family, curious wedding crashers made it the most talked-about affair in the town and took selfies with the couple.
"Searching for a bride for my son, who is just 36 inches tall, was a difficult task for me. I was lucky that I found a bride having a similar height in the same district. A large number of people assembled there and blessed them," the groom's father Bindeshwari Mandal told IANS.
Pictures of this wedding were widely circulated on social media. Many mentioned how this is a match made in heaven. One user said, "Made for each other." Another wrote, "Blessings for them." A third user added They are just normal people, let them enjoy their blissful moment."
