A Bengaluru landlord turned to Twitter to reveal a terrible occurrence that is every landlord's worst nightmare. The landlord said that he had let out his two-bedroom property to an "educated bachelor" working for a "large MNC." After paying rent for three to four months, the tenant vanished and then called to say he needed to leave the apartment and wanted his security deposit returned.
However, he was unwilling to formally hand up the flat. After becoming suspicious, the landlord went to see the property and received arguably the biggest shock of his life. The entire establishment was littered with empty liquor bottles. The windows were open, allowing birds to enter and defecate everywhere. The kitchen and toilet were a complete disaster. A filthy mattress was in the middle of the living room.
