In a hilarious incident, a Cairo student, on a trip to a zoo in Egypt found donkeys painted with Zebra stripes.
Mahmoud A. Sarhani, noticed that the animal had unusually-long ears and had some strange paint smudges on the side of its head. That's not all, he also found that the animal had a slight tuft of jet black hair rather than the larger shaggier mane a zebra usually has on the nape of its neck.
Clearly, people at the zoo didn't think things over before painting the donkey.
What's even more baffling is that despite overwhelming evidence, Mohamed Sultan, the director of International Gardens Park, has denied that it is an imposter, reports DailyMail
But this isn¡¯t the first time a zoo tried to pass donkeys off as zebras. In 2009, a zoo in Gaza painted two donkeys black and white to replace a pair of zebras that had died of starvation.
If this does not deserve three slow claps, we don't know what does.
