Elon Musk said in an interview that his kids "were mostly educated by YouTube and Reddit." He also said he thought education should be as engaging for kids as video games are.
SpaceX founder and Tesla innovator Elon Musk is the richest man on the planet. However, he has a lot of opinions and this new one is actually a complaint. He thinks YouTube ads are a continuous scam.
YouTube seems to be nonstop scam ads

His tweet came in after a meme on YouTube's policy against people swearing as opposed to when there are "obvious scam ads all over their site."
However, this specific comment seems quite unusual considering that a year ago, Musk said that his children spend so much time on YouTube that they actually got schooled from the platform.
Elon Musk who is a father of six children, five of whom are school-aged - was asked about education during a live interview. When asked what he thought should be the right approach to children¡¯s education in the era of digitization, Musk said, ¡°My kids were mostly educated by YouTube and Reddit. And their classmates".
A chuckling Musk further added, ¡°I guess there were lessons as well, but they spent most of their time online so yeah, it seemed most of their education was coming from online".
He had added that children should learn "why's of things. With education, I think it's important to make things interesting and to teach them the relevance of learning certain things," Musk said, adding that in his experience, engaging narratives work better when teaching children.
