After Filing RTI To Find Missing Father, Man Comes To Know His Ex-Wife Is Now His Stepmother

A 22-year-old ended up living his worst nightmare after he found out that he is his ex-wife is now his stepmother and that he even has a 'brother,' according to this report.

This came to his notice after this guy from Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district filed an RTI at District Panchayati Raj Office to collect information about his father who had left house and was living elsewhere. He had file the RTI after his father stopped giving him any money and was living separately in Sambhal.

According to reports, the son was married to his now "step mother" in the year 2016 when both of them were minors. After six months, though, they got separated and the guy even tried for reconciliation but the girl insisted on divorce on the ground that the boy was an alcoholic.

However, when the son finally learnt that his father had married his ex-wife, he complained to Bisauli police station and both the parties were called for a meeting.

The girl, who is now the guy's mother, doesn't want to return to her ex-husband and claims that she is very happy with second husband who she got married to after turning 18-years-old.

The circle police office officer said, "We have not been given any documents of the first marriage when both were minor. A case cannot be registered, as of now. Both the parties will receive notice for further sessions."
