Giant Meteor 'Fireball' From Outer Space Lights Up Night Sky In Perth, Australia
A meteor that sounded like a &ldquoplane crashing&rdquostunned onlookers in Perth Australia and left many in a state of panic. Firefighters received numerous emergency calls at around 7:40 pm on Tuesday from frantic locals who had caught a glimpse of the fireball. Scientists are now looking for the fallen meteorite around the place called York which is 100km east of Perth.

The meteorite slowed down before hitting Earth and people have been advised to hand over anything they find to the concerned authorities. Failing to do so will result in a $1000 fine.
A local, Rosena Cox told ABC: ¡°I just heard this enormous bang, it sounded like an explosion and I just thought ¡®what on earth was that¡¯ because it was so intense.¡±
