Gurugram Dog Owner Beats Neighbours For Calling His Pet 'Kutta' Not Tommy

In a shocking incident, a man in Gurugram beat six members of his neighbour's family after he got angry when one of them called his dog 'kutta' instead of its name 'Tommy'.
The incident is said to have taken place in Jyoti Park in the Cybercity area of Gurugram. Infuriated by the dog's violent nature, Sudhir, a resident of the area, had asked his neighbour to keep the dog chained. This did not sit well with the dog's owner who got furious with the suggestion and the fact he did not use the dog's name and called him kutta, India Today reported.
An argument follow and resulted in a violent brawl between two families. The visuals from the incident, captured by another resident in the area, show the dog¡¯s owner attacking Sudhir and his family with rods and sticks. It was reported that six members of Sudhir's family suffered severe injuries.
Speaking to the media, Sudhir said that he had asked his neighbour to keep the dog chained because it used to run after his kids to bite them.

Sudhir has filed a complaint against his neighbour at a police station in Gurugram and the cops have launched an investigation.
This is not the first time such an incident involving a dog has taken place in Gurugram. In March, a family was barred from entering their residential complex allegedly by the neighbours for feeding stray dogs. The neighbours of the family were angry for feeding the canines as one of them bit a man recently.
