Gurugram-based Jasveer Singh was in for quite the shocker after receiving an electricity bill for Rs 45,000 for only two months. It's one thing to live in an expensive city and groan about expenses, but it's quite another to see it spelt out in clear, legible print like the bill in question. Situations like these throw up all sorts of thoughts: from switching to solar to quitting the city, to burning candles after dark. This clearly went too far, and the internet came out in Singh's support who was quite the sport having paid the bill in time and slowly letting reality sink in.
