After a couple of people tweeted about it several people responded to it corroborating the claim and expressing outrage They have tagged Google India Google and Google maps demanding a fix for the issue.
What do you do if you don¡¯t know what something means or does or how something works? More often than not you turn to Google. Given its clout and reputation, you expect it to give you accurate results. But don¡¯t count on it.

So far, there has been no response from Google regarding this issue. But, the sooner this is fixed, the better. It is being called an algorithm error, but that cannot be used as an excuse to get away with something like this. A search engine that is used all over the world cannot be so callous with its translations.
