Usually, people get married twice, thrice or maybe four times, because the fourth time's the charm, right? A man from Indonesia has shattered that myth and is now ready to marry for the 88th time. To whom? That is where the things get twisted. Here's what is happening.

Indonesian 'playboy king' set to marry for 88th time

A 61-year-old man from Indonesia has been deemed the "Playboy king" because he was married 87 times. And now he is set to marry for the 88th time. The man, who has been identified as Kaan, is getting married to one of his ex-wives. According to reports, his new bride is an ex-wife from his 86th marriage.

Kaan, a farmer from Majalengka in West Java, Indonesia, reportedly said that he could not refuse the woman from returning to him.

The man claims that while the wedding, his 86th, lasted only a month, the woman is still "head over heels" in love with him. He reportedly said that although it has been a long time since they separated, the love between them is still going strong. And now they are ready to get married again.

Kaan was married first when he was 14 years old

People might wonder if he is 61 years old, how can he be married 87 times already? Kaan reportedly said that he was married for the first time when he was just 14 years old. His first wife, who was two years older than him at the time, left him after two years due to his poor attitude.

He was quoted by Malay Mail, "Due to my poor attitude then, my wife asked for a divorce after two years into the marriage." In an interesting turn of events, Kaan then claimed to have sought spiritual help to make women go crazy for him. It clearly worked out, if we might add.

However, his intentions towards women remain clear and he doesn't want anything bad for the ones he marries or otherwise. He said, "But I do not want to do things that are not good for women. I also refuse to play with their emotions," he added. The farmer further asserted, "Rather than committing immorality, it is better that I get married."

We know exactly how many wives Kaan has had, but it is not clear how many children Kaan has from his 87 marriages. The identities of his wives are also unknown.
