Influencer transitioning back from Korean woman to British man
In May, Oli London made headlines for coming out as a Korean transgender woman. However, he has now announced that he is in the process of detransitioning back to a man after living as a transgender woman for the last six months.
"I am no longer trans and have gone back to living as a man. Grateful if everyone could respect my new pronouns- He/Him KOR/EAN. Thank you," he shared on Twitter.
London has admitted that identifying as a 'transracial' was a mistake and will now be transitioning back to a British man.

"Six months ago I had facial feminization surgeries, 11 in one day. I changed my bone structure. I got hair extensions, changed wardrobes, started wearing makeup, had my hair removed.," he was quoted as saying.
"I did it because I thought it would make me happy. I felt happy at the time but over a period of reflection, I felt I was chasing happiness. Being a woman is not for me," London added.

London has previously been criticised for having undergone extensive surgery to resemble BTS singer Park Jimin, with many viewing it as an example of cultural appropriation.
He had earlier said Korean was his culture after spending at least $150k (Rs 1.11 crore) worth of surgeries over eight years to look like one.
Recently, London shaved his hair off completely, which he views as the beginning of his journey back to being a man. He says that the last six months of living as a woman have provided him with clarity about his identity, and he's taking proactive steps, like therapy, to continue on his journey to happiness.
