United States President Joe Biden has managed to be at the centre of another public faux pas. Ever since he assumed office, the leader has made several gaffes. Be it the slips of tongue or falling asleep at an event, Joe Biden can't seem to catch a break.

This time, Biden has found himself at the end of the internet¡¯s ridicule after appearing to shake hands with thin air.
The President was seen doing an ¡®invisible handshake¡¯ after ending a speech at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro. In the now viral video, Biden looked lost on stage as he bizarrely turned his back to the audience after his speech ended.

For reasons galore, the video left netizens as confused as he was, asking questions about his well-being.
Reacting to the incident, Harmeet Dhillon, former vice chairwoman of the California Republican Party, questioned the whereabouts of the White House and Biden family handlers, 'who are responsible for making him look good'. In her tweet, she added that this was bizarre 'unless they want him to look like a Dementia patient'.

While one section of the internet was sympathetic to Biden's behaviour, others weren't so kind.

However, according to International Business Times fact check, Biden wasn't shaking hands with thin air. In fact, he was gesturing at the people on the right and eventually behind him who were cheering. He even gestures toward the crowd on the left side of the dais, but it is covered by a mic stand.
Well, even if that was true, internet has already given its verdict: Guilty!
