That's what you need to remember when looking at Louis Vuitton's latest offering: fringe boots.
Why did Louis Vuitton's new fringe boots go viral?

Now, Louis Vuitton is famous for the details on its products, but in this case, it seems the internet didn't have to try too hard to search for them. Here, it's more fringe than boot. The fringe seems to jump right at you through the screen. That's the sense everyone gets online when looking at the boots, as shown in the image above. The fringe covers the entire boots, taking away any shape the boot may have had, in the end, leaving it looking like Fig Foot's,' well.., foot.

The boots are Artistic Director of Women¡¯s Collections Nicolas Ghesquiere's vision come to life. He has been with Louis Vuitton since 2013 and is known to push the envelope with his designs.
The post has about 29K likes so far, but it's the comments section that is really heated up. "Its time to get a new womenswear designer frrrrrr," wrote one Instagram user. "Louis, I love you¡ really, I do but these ¡°shoes¡± omgggg they remind me of an ostrich for some reason," added a second. " The shoes of this collection - except for the iridescent booties - have to be some of the ugliest, tasteless looking designer shoes I¡¯ve ever seen! The first few looks of that show (with the sunglasses - that felt super unnecessary - and the nice hats) were the best looks in years at LV, unfortunately the rest was just horrible," was a third person's honest take.
