Man Carrying 273 Kg Meth Worth Rs 963 Crore Rams Van Into Police Vehicle, Gets Arrested

A man rammed his van into a parked police car in Sydney, and while that does not sound like a big deal, wait till you hear what was in his car.

The man was also carrying 273 kilograms of Meth with him, when he rammed his vehicle. The incident took place in front of Ryde police station, Sydney at around 10:30 am.

After the 28-year-old slammed his Toyota HiAce into the police patrol car on Ethel Street, Eastwood, the cops caught him around 10:30 am and interrogated him. When they searched the van they found methamphetamine worth more than Rs 963.8 crore. Meth is also commonly known as ice.

It was neatly packed into cardboard boxes. A CCTV footage of the incident went viral after the video was released by the police. Watch the video:

The police charged the driver with large commercial supply of drugs and negligent driving. The van was also seized for forensic examination. After the driver rammed his van into the parked police car, it was severely damaged, but thankfully no one was injured in the accident.

After he was taken to the Burwood local court, he was refused bail. The police are still investigating the case with assistance from the State Crime Command¡¯s Drug and Firearms Squad.

"Detectives are appealing for motorists to provide dashcam footage from the area between 10.30 am and 11.30 am, as well as any CCTV or other vision, or information about the van's movements throughout the morning," the police said.

After entering his home in Loretto, Tennessee, officers found the man flushing away 12 grams of meth and several items of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was charged with drug possession with intent for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence, according to AL.com.

In another similar incident, last year, a man pulled out a bag of white powder from his penis after being strip-searched by police at Newcastle, UK. 21-year-old, James Mason was arrested after a disturbance at a student accommodation last month.

He was taken to police station for being drunk and using too many swear words. When the police were searching his pockets, he started laughing and said ¡°Haha, told you I had f*** all on us you mugs.¡±

But on the way to the police station, the officers noticed the man fiddling with his socks and putting his hand down his trousers. After reaching the station, the police strip-searched him, where he pulled out Class A drugs from his penis.
