To Get 'TikTok Famous' A Man Was Caught Recording Himself Hanging Out Of The Sunroof in A Moving Car
A passenger inside a Mercedes car was apparently 'hoping to become TikTok famous' by recording himself hanging out of the sunroof.
People nowadays can go to any lengths to become famous on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. For one person, it did not end well.
In order to get famous on TikTok, a man hung himself out of the sunroof of a moving car that was travelling down the motorway. Unfortunately, he got spotted by the police.
The guy was recording himself while doing so but his fun was cut a little short after police saw the events unfold in an unmarked police car which soon got involved.
The GMP Police posted about this incident on their Twitter account. The caption said, "This Mercedes was seen leaving the #M602 by #XT58. The passenger was hoping to become tik tok famous by recording himself hanging out the sunroof! His stream was soon ruined by the blue lights of the unmarked car behind watching ¡®live¡¯! Driver & passenger reported."

The police also used the hashtag 'tiktokTOR' with the 'TOR' referring to a Traffic Offence Report.
A person on Twitter asked the police force why the TOR was applied. To this, the force explained: "No seat belt for the passenger. Driver given TOR for the manner of passenger carried likely to cause danger."

Someone else asked why the driver was reported, adding: "I understand that it¡¯s illegal what the passenger is doing but what did the driver do[?] In this situation is driver meant to stop[?]" Someone else replied: "Drivers [are] responsible for passengers."
