Man Pranks Scammers, Bullies Them Into Giving Up In Hilarious Viral Video
In a hilarious video going viral on the internet, people had fun watching a content creator brutally prank an Instagram scammer.
There are plenty of fake texts from scammers showing up on people's phones these days, whether it be a fake job offer or an ¡°angel investor¡± ready to turn your life around. However, these scam artists are never too clever and often make noticeable mistakes. One user thought it best to take advantage of this loophole and had fun with a scammer trying to elicit his personal information.
Man Pranks Scammers In Viral Video
Daniel Fratello is a video creator on the internet who deals with scammers regularly. He engages with messages that usually anyone would avoid. In this particular instance, the TikToker came across a scammer who wanted his Instagram login information.
In a text, the scammer warned Fratello about being blocked from his Instagram account which has nearly 150K followers. The scam artist asked for his login username and password to recover his Instagram account. Seeing as Fratello had practice in discerning such scam texts, he replied cheekily, ¡°Why did you give me a warning if I'm already blocked?¡±
Although the creator was showing no signs of getting caught in the fish trap, the scammer kept up his facade and insisted on getting the login information. However, it would certainly be hard for any respectful adult to fall for such scams since the biggest red flag is their apparent and frequent spelling errors.
The Scammers' Lack Of Vocabulary Outed Their Scheme
Fratello outsmarted the scammer by mentioning how they would already be aware of his username if they knew he was blocked. With that said, he also gave them a fake password. The scammer though insisted on getting a username. On being asked if they were Instagram support, the scammers confirmed that they were ¡°bi-Instagram.¡±
The creator made fun of the scammer for using the term and joked, ¡°I really didn¡¯t need to know your sexuality.¡± At this point, the scam artist turns into a solicitor and aggressively asks for the information. However, Fratello does not budge. He asks the scammer to send in a picture as proof of their identity.
In reply, the scammer sends in a picture of a woman. The obvious lie makes the internet crack up. Obviously, Fratello does not send his information even after getting the stock image. This makes the scammer give up and flee after sending in a ¡°You suck¡± text to the creator.
Folks on the internet were incredibly entertained by the creator¡¯s run-in with the scammer. Some even mentioned how they could care less if Fratello¡¯s videos were fake, they were hilarious nonetheless.
