During the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox baseball game, a man can be seen hugging his partner on the steps of one of the stands at the Rogers Centre. After sharing a kiss and a few words, the man gets down on one knee ¡ª with a cameraman behind the pair ready to capture the romantic moment.
The man then kneels on the stairs, as his girlfriend covers her mouth in shock. However, the moment soon turned sour when the guy pulled out a black ring box from his jeans pocket and produced a gummy ring.
Upon seeing the gummy ring, the young woman immediately slaps her partner, as fans in the stadium watched on in disbelief.

Footage of the incident has spread quickly across social media.
While some users believe the fan deserved to be slapped, others claim his girlfriend overreacted to a harmless joke.
"Her reaction leaves a lot to say, it was a joke, maybe after that he will open his eyes and realize that he is not the one," a user commented.

Man's marriage proposal goes wrong after girl runs away
Earlier, a video went viral showing a man getting down on his knee to pop the question to a girl at a packed baseball field. However, the woman clearly wasn¡¯t ready for it and fled the scene as quickly as she could, overwhelmed at what had just happened.
It all happened at a minor league game at Polar Park in the US state of Massachusetts last year. The league might be minor, but it turned out to be a major embarrassment for the man who thought it was the perfect moment to do the deed.
At first, naturally, the scene was met with cheers from the crowd, but it soon became clear that the proposal wasn¡¯t going well as the woman began to shake her head and move backwards.
