Stomach-churning Video Of Man Allegedly Spitting On Tandoori Rotis While Cooking At Wedding In UP Goes Viral

In the viral video the man could be seen spitting on rotis before putting them in the tandoor. The incident reportedly took place at a wedding in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The man, seen in the video, was arrested after people demanded action against him. He was identified as Naushad alias Sohail. Disturbed by the visuals, netizens shared the video on Twitter and tagged Meerut Police, urging them to take action.

The disturbing act led to people tagging the Meerut police urging them to take strict action against the man on account of defying basic hygiene protocols.
A person attending the wedding secretly recorded the video and posted it on social media. Meerut Police said, "The station in-charge of Partapur has been conveyed to launch necessary action or investigation in connection with the case."
The police said that the accused was cooking at a wedding held in Aroma Garden on February 16, when one of the guests noticed that the accused was spitting on the rotis.

According to the Meerut Police's Twitter handle, the man was booked under IPC 268, 269, 188 and three other Epidemic Diseases acts, for which the accused could be punished for at least three years. The tweet further mentioned that the man was caught with the help of advocate Yashoda Yadav and workers of Hindu Jagran Manch.

Hindu Jagran Manch President Sachin Sirohi has now demanded that CCTV cameras be installed at the wedding venues to keep a check on such incidents.
