Man Left With Ruptured Bladder After Holding In Pee For 18 Hours After Night Of Heavy Drinking
Chinese man's bladder ruptured when he held his urine for 18 hours after a heavy night of drinking.
One can't simply not go to the toilet after drinking beer and as the quantity of the drink increases, so do the bathroom visits.
You just have to keep your bladder empty. Also, it is never advisable to hold your pee, especially while drinking alcohol since it can lead to a lot of complications later.

A man from China learnt it the hard way when he held his urine for way too long after a heavy night of drinking which led to his urinary bladder rupturing, as reported by Times Now.

The man named Hu from China was rushed to the Zhuji People¡¯s Hospital in China¡¯s eastern province of Zhejiang after reportedly holding in a huge amount of urine for 18 hours. As a result, the man suffered a lot of pain as his bladder had ruptured.
The man suffered intense pain in his abdominal area after the woke up from his inebriated sleep. A doctor told media the pain was so severe, the man couldn't lie flat.
The 40-year-old had apparently consumed more than 10 beers and had drunkenly slept through the entire day without going to the loo. When he was taken to the hospital, scans at the urology department confirmed his bladder had three tears.

Hu required an emergency operation as his bladder damage was due to increased pressure inside the organ.
Fortunately, three surgeons were able to repair the bladder without any further complications. According to latest reports, Hu is now in stable condition and is currently recovering at his home.
A report from the hospital said the human bladder can increase its size as fluids are ingested. However, it's flexibility capacity is limited between 350-500 millilitres.
