New Year, New Shenanigans: Two US Men With Parachutes Leap From Hotel Roof

While everyone was busy celebrating the arrival of 2021 with their family and friends locked up in their homes (or not), two guys in Nashville took things to the next level by jumping from a rooftop bar at the 25th floor of the Grand Hyatt hotel on New Year¡¯s Eve.

A clip that has gone viral shows two men with parachutes jumping off from a rooftop bar leaving everyone else shocked.

The footage shows men and women at the bar with a skyline of the city in the background. But the mood of the place changes suddenly when two men are seen climbing over the railings.

In the video, a woman can be heard saying ¡®O my God¡¯ as the two men balance on the railings. Soon, the second man also makes the leap as the customers at the bar continue to panic.

According to a CNN report, the men were guests at the hotel. Following the incident, a formal complaint was registered by the hotel security. Although the clip has gone viral, the identities of the men are still unknown.

Hotel security told police they believed the men may have been guests at the hotel and, according to the report, video of the incident was provided to police. The identities of the men are unknown.

¡°The hotel immediately engaged local authorities and the guests were subsequently evicted and banned from the hotel,¡± the hotel said in a statement.

BASE jumping is a sport where jumpers parachute from fixed points like skyscrapers, cliffs or bridges.
