Torrential rains in Mumbai have wreaked havoc yet again and have brought normal life to a standstill. In the midst of all this one particular video of water gushing down a skyscraper has left people perplexed.
At first it seemed as though the rains had caused it. The video was shared on Twitter by K Sudarshan on Tuesday and he captioned it saying, "Waterfalls in New Cuffe Parade! #MumbaiRains".
The unusual sight left people amused and some of them were seen filming the bizarre sight

K Sudarshan said incident took place after a crack in the water tank that was recently installed and not because of incessant rains in the city.

"Msg from Lodha NCP team. (2 Sep) This evening there was an incident during testing of water tank at building T5 (Dioro). The vendor, was testing the new water tank which was recently installed, there was a rupture in the body causing the water to come out," reads a tweet by Ashish Dave, venture investor.
The video quickly received hundreds of comments and people couldn't stop churning out hilarious memes:
The Maharashtra government has declared a holiday on Thursday in all schools and junior colleges in Mumbai, Thane and the Kokan region as a precautionary measure in view of heavy rainfall forecast.
While the water level has receded in almost all parts of Mumbai, National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) teams have been kept on standby in different parts of the city in view of heavy rainfalls predicted by the meteorological department.
