Optical illusion of 'invisible' mountain bike
Like this image of a muddy mountain bike that has left the internet baffled¡ªbut can you figure out what's really going on?
The mind-bending optical illusion shows a red mountain bike standing in mud. That's pretty normal until you realise that it is standing on its back tyre with no front tyre anywhere in sight.
At first sight, it looks like the bicycle¡¯s front tyre was taken off for repairs. However, upon closer inspection, it¡¯s revealed that the bike does indeed have a front wheel, but it¡¯s covered head to toe in mud, and you cannot see the usual black rubber tyre.
The image was shared on Reddit and left users perplexed. Some even went on to incorrectly claim that there were no tyres.
"Invisible tire. If you ride it, you¡¯ll look like you are just floating with a bike frame," a user commented.
¡°There are no tires," another user said.
¡°IDK why I was searching for 2 front tires," a third user wrote.
"This one is very good. One of the best ones I've seen," another user wrote, referring to the optical illusion.
Optical illusion: Horses 'walking on water'
Optical illusion lovers were similarly stumped by two horses 'walking on water'.
The viral clip was recorded by Kelli Rogers in July while she was paddleboarding with her two grandchildren on the Salt River in Tonto National Forest, in Arizona, U.S.
During the expedition, she noticed the two animals standing in shallow water and took out her phone to film them.
Kelli was left baffled after she watched the footage back and saw that the horses appeared to be floating on the surface of the water.
The illusion occurred because the horses were standing in a shallow area of the river when Kelli was filming the moment.
The trees in the background are farther away than the horses, so they appear to be moving at a different rate.
