Restaurant In Florida Goes Viral For 'Face Diapers Not Required' Mask Policy

The coronavirus pandemic has left the world reeling under its effects and it might take years to final come back to the pre-covid normal. Forced by the circumstances, one constant in our lives has been the face mask.
It has become an essential part of our lives but not everyone is impressed with wearing face masks, like this restaurant in US' Florida. In what is surely going to divide opinion, the eatery has put a sign outside which says, "Face diapers not required! Everyone welcome.¡±

Beckyjack's Food Shack in Hernando County, Florida, posted the picture on Facebook for Valentine's Day with the caption

Since then, the post has racked up over 3,200 reactions, 3,000 comments and 800 shares.
Owner Jesse Fox told WFLA he simply wanted to inform customers and staff of the eatery¡¯s policy. ¡°We did a post just trying to be proactive, letting everybody know what the mask requirement is or isn¡¯t at Beckyjack¡¯s because some people were coming in ¡ they were surprised that we weren¡¯t wearing masks,¡± Fox told the news outlet.

The owner said that they have been getting mixed feedbacks - both positive and negative.
Fox, though, is not concerned about the bad press as he said face masks are not required in Hernando County and said he¡¯s following original guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that said healthy people don¡¯t need to wear one.
In Florida, face coverings are recommended but not required for the general public.
Fox said if the Hernando County required people to wear a mask in restaurants, he would follow that rule.
