Delhi: Man Argues With Wine Shop Owner Only To Get A Bottle Smashed In His Face
In a video that only just recently surfaced online, a man can be seen arguing with another inside a wine shop in New Delhi's Rohini only to get a bottle smashed on his head.
Sure, alcohol is injurious to health but we'd never thought this is what they meant. In a video that only just recently surfaced online, a man can be seen arguing with another inside a wine shop in New Delhi's Rohini only to get a bottle smashed in his face.
While there's not much to go by at the moment, the various platforms posting this video claim the incident took place in City Center Mall in Rohini. The video's graphic, so if you're easily put off by such scenes, this is your cue to leave.
Going by the video, the man in the black shirt seems to be asking the man behind the counter--probably the cashier--to 'change' the bottle handed to him. The man in the white shirt then mumbles something from behind the cloth he's tied on his face. That was apparently enough to trigger the customer in question who can be heard saying 'Mujhe mat sikha.'
The man in the black shirt, angered at this point, slaps the cardboard lined sheet kept on the counter, probably put there in the first place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. One corner seemingly hits the guy behind the counter who can be seen touching his face. And it's only downhill from this point on.

No sooner had the guy in the black shirt done what he did, the cashier climbs up on the counter while two men rush towards our main man allegedly with bottles in their hands. What happens next can fit perfectly in a Hindi movie.
While the cashier, already on the counter at this point, swings his legs over and is almost straddling the errant customer, the other guy who came rushing smashes a beer bottle close to his face with all his might. That seems to enough reason for this guy to leave who quickly heads out the door shouting and cussing through a sea of onlookers who quickly move out of his way.

Not much else is known about the incident at the time. Though these scenes may not be uncommon in India, they do make wonder each time why things have to reach such a point.
Not that anyone's actions were justified, but probably our hot-headed protagonist could learn from this Tamil Nadu man who skipped the long queues and the fuss and sent a DIY robot to buy alcohol for him.
If that isn't ingenious then what is? For those wondering how this was possible, Karthick told DT Next: ¡°It took nearly an hour to make the purchase as there was a huge crowd. The robot can carry a load of up to 50 kgs, which I tested by placing a rice bag. The battery power can last for about four hours at a stretch and is chargeable."
In the end, always remember to keep your cool and not waste precious beer.
