@Uber_Support Taking this particular driver as reference, I'd like to know how do you ensure something like this does not happen again? Is he going to be let off with a warning? Or sacked? Or sensitised? What are the concrete steps you're taking to make your riders feel safe?

This is serious. No response from @DelhiPolice @DelhiTrafficPol ?
¡ª Half Expert (@akul_nishant) March 19, 2019
Don't hesitate in filing a police complaint. @Uber_Support Do you not verify drivers' credentials before hiring? @Uppolice and @uptrafficpolice also need to look into the matter, since the car has no. plate of UP

The drivers of Uber don't get licence after a proper training. Delhi commercial license you get after a proper training. They get license as free without training and join Uber to serve you. At least they should take license from Delhi.

This is genuinely a very common occurrence. Uber should definitely suspend such drivers.

While Uber has sacked the driver, Uber spokesperson said in a statement, ¡°What¡¯s been detailed has no place on our platform. We have removed the individual¡¯s access to the app pending a full investigation.¡±
But still, the questions that arise after this incident is: women, married or not, continue to feel unsafe in Delhi. When will this end, and what are the chances that this is the last such incident?
