Student Goes Viral For Taking A 'Business Meeting' In School Bathroom

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the way people work, and working from home has become increasingly popular. With the rise of remote work, some people have started to work from anywhere, hilariously including their bathrooms. A quick zoom call won't hurt anyone, right?

One of the biggest changes brought about by the pandemic is the widespread adoption of remote work. Many employers have realised that their employees can work effectively from home, and some have even decided to make it a permanent option. This has led to a rise in the number of people working from home, and some have taken it to the extreme of working from anywhere, even the bathroom.

This student took it to another and actually took a meeting in a bathroom. A picture of the man doing so made rounds on social media and even reached his principal. Here's what happened.

A video posted on Twitter by Eric Zhu with the caption, "It's over for me" shows him taking a meeting in a bathroom stall. The student is sitting facing towards the wall in the stall and taking a meeting with a laptop placed on the toilet, it seems.

Other people who might have heard him take the meeting made a quick Snapchat about it and it went viral. There is also a video where he can be seen talking loudly about finance.

However, as the video went viral. The student's dad reached out to him with a complaint. He texted Eric, "Students were sharing this picture of you, which reached your principal and emailed it to me. Eric we need to have a talk when you're home because the school principal just called me and complained that you're taking business calls in the bathroom again..."

People reacted to the viral tweet in hilarious ways. A man suggested, "You should create a Room that's modelled after a bathroom."

Can working from home have a downside?

Working from the home, or bathroom, in this case, can have some serious downsides. For one thing, it can be very distracting, especially if you have family members or roommates sharing the space with you.

It can also be unprofessional and potentially embarrassing if someone walks in on you during a video call. Furthermore, it can be unhygienic and uncomfortable to work in a bathroom for an extended period of time.
