The bodybuilder initially shows up at the house dressed in a suit. After handing over the food to the customer while also practicing social distancing, the man strips out of his clothes and shows off his muscles.
The customer can also film the bodybuilder while he flexes his muscles.
The bizarre facility called 'Delivery Macho Service' was started by a 41-year-old chef and bodybuilder, Masanori Sugiura. To help him out with his innovation, he recruited his bodybuilder friends.
The hospitality and food industry was severely hit due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, with people being locked up at home for majority part of it. Also, to curb the infection, even those who never cooked at home before started having their meals at home, to avoid contracting the virus.
This service is a way to bring back customers, and help the culinary world sustain itself.
The customers can avail this service if they place an order costing at least 7000 yen (Rs 4,825). Reportedly, Chef Suguira now gets up to 10 orders a day which makes his monthly earnings up to 1.5 million yen, which is over Rs 10 lakh.
Needless to say, it is an absolute hit with the customers who get to enjoy a delicious meal, as well as a show exclusively put up for them.
