An Indian Gave His Tesla The Most Desi Number Plate Ever - 'Bijli'
A Tesla Model S car which isn't available in India yet had a very Indian touch to it. The number plate of the car said 'Bijli'.
As Indians, we do know how to leave our mark in the world. There are things Indians do that tell us apart from the rest of the world because we take our 'Indianess' very seriously.
Speaking of Indianess, a very unusual picture has surfaced on social media and you'd definitely know who is behind it. This picture was shared on Reddit by a user identified as u/krins12.
The picture is of a Tesla car model S. As soon as you look at the picture, there's something that stands out immediately - its number plate. This car's number plate says 'Bijli'!
Yes, Bijli! As in the Hindi word for lightning.
Now, we obviously know the car was driven by an Indian. The caption along with the picture wrote, "You can take an Indian out of India, but not India out of an Indian."
One user said, "Some common one I have come across: It's kind of a thing in the Punjabi and Gujrati community I guess.
S1NGH GUJJAR SHAH1 PAT3L." Another user wrote, "Swades effect."
This is not the first time a Tesla car, which is still not available in India had a very desi number plate. Back in 2020 a Punjabi Tesla number plate with 'Bijli' written on it was also found in Canada.
We all agree that Indians are very hard to miss anywhere in the world. One can surely take an Indian out of India, but taking away his Indianess? Now that's impossible!
When four robbers attacked Ashok Jewellers in Canada, the owners had a very gutsy response. The store employees picked up three swords and chased them away. In the security camera footage, the four suspects can be seen running back to their vehicle and speeding away.
Stunning video.

That's not it. Indians are lovable and our hospitality attracts everyone. Recently, at a Punjabi wedding ceremony in California, two cops were roped in on the celebration. The cops had arrived at the venue following noise complaints by neighbours. But instead of stopping the wedding, the Punjabi family made sure that the cops dance along with them...and they did!
Now, that's the India we are proud of, aren't we?
